Well, I’ve decided to give this ear training course another go. This time I really have to make a good go of it as I’ll be posting about it so my progress is recorded. Its quite a while since I looked at the course, but I remember the basic exersises from the first few lessons. Last time I attempted the course, I got to and passed the “perfect forths” exam.

This time I have been putting in at least half an hour each day. I passed the perfect fifths exam (which is on lesson 3), having made only one mistake. I’ve put in a good couple of days practising perfect forths and perfect fifths, and will take the next exam in a day or two.

I feel that I am making good progress with this now.

Today was Sheila’s funeral. I’ve known Sheila, and her husband Frank, ever since I joined The South Downs Magicians 18 years ago. Frank, who died several years ago, was a very clever carpenter and had built props for several well known magicians including Paul Daniels.

Inspite of the English being very bad at talking about death and funerals, todays event was more about celebrating Sheila’s life and sharing fond memories, rather than focusing on the sadness of her loss.

Rest In Peace Sheila.

I need a tutorial for starting a blog. I’ve been wracking my brain for a week now trying to think how I should start off this blogging malarkey. This thing has been online for a week now with nothing on it, and it isn’t even if I have nothing to say. I have lots of things to write about.

So, if you have any ideas how I should start off let me know. I’m especially interested in blogging about my efforts of Internet Marketing, Affiliate Marketing, how I’m doing with Dave Burge’s Relative pitch ear training course, a band called “Band With No Name”, and life in general.
