The greatest web host in the world

Yesterday my girl and I were treated to an outstanding evening in London care of Rochen Hosting – which I now know is pronounced “Rocken” and not “Rowshen” as I have been telling everyone. The evening started with a champagne reception on the London Eye – I managed to drink two glasses in the time it took to go round. We were then transported to the bluebird restaurant in Chelsea by stretch hummer. We had our own room upstairs in the restaurant which had a glass wall that over looked the bar and restaurant. The red wine that was being served was Château Mazeyres, 1999 Pomerol, and was very light for a red wine – I’ll definately be treating myself to some of this in the near future. The bluebird restaurant is built on the site of the garage that built the bluebird boat that Donald Campbell used to set the water speed record.

So, thanks Rochen for providing and hosting an extremely memorable evening, and for being an extremely efficient web host. Rochen offer hosting at a very reasonable cost, their knowledgable staff are online 24 hours a day, so problems are quick to be sorted.

Here are a few photos of the evening (thanks to Carlos for taking them and giving me permission to publish them here :)):
