September 2007 update

Well, it’s already the eve of my return to work after my two week holiday 🙁  How quickly the fortnight went…

I’m actually currently working on several blog posts, including a day by day account of what I got up to in Orlando.  I’ve started uploading photos here:  Orlando 2007

The other posts that I have started to write are about optimism, designing web pages for mobile devices and stuff that you don’t know about me (and probably couldn’t care less as well)

One cool new aquisition I have just started to use is a glass topped computer desk.  This has replaced a very big (and heavy) board room type desk that I got from work a little while ago.  The new desk is much smarter and makes my bedroom look quite a lot bigger.  The only thing is, I now need a mouse mat as optical mice don’t work well on glass.

Oh, and another thing… SEO Rockstars is starting again on webmaster radio this tuesday. Yay!

  1. Those stingrays are pissy! I remember back in the day when I was scuba diving off the coast of Victoria, Australia, and ran into a couple of enormous bull stingrays. They were easily 1.75m wide, and beautiful to watch in deep water.

  2. That must have been quite something. Maybe I should visit Oz – I have relatives in Australia and New Zealand. Need to do something about my phobia of large spiders first though…..

  3. Aww, c’mon – Those tiny little spiders in Australia only get up to about 20cm, where as the South Americans have the pleasure of playing host to a similar arachnid that gets up to about 30cm. It’s the tiny ones that are more poisonous anyway, although the chance of you running across anything more frightful than one of those little tiny red spider mites that are about a millimetre in size is slim.

In fact, it’s much more likely that you’ll be a victim of a viscous drop-bear attack…
