A tip for anyone that is planning to change blog software

Filed under: General — Joe Brewer @ 8:39 pm

A number of months ago I decided to change my blog software from Seredipity to WordPress, however I forgot to change my rss feed at Feedburner. This meant that I now have 0 subscribers to my blog via feedburner. Actually, I’m not sure how many I had before…. hmm, I’m sure it was more than 0 before!

So, here’s the thing. I am embarking on a new experiment to see if I can up my readership so that awstats reports 200 unique visitors a day by the end January. I guess it’s probably not going to be that hard… I’m currently around the 70 mark plus or minus 10. So, how am I going to up my visitors? Well, I think it’s going to come down to regular posting and pinging so that more people are aware of me. I think I probably need to take more of a direction with the blog as well, rather than meandering through different topics.

Let’s see what happens.
