Pink Floyd’s Pulse - coming to a DVD player near you soon…
At last, Pink Floyd have decided to release this incredible concert on DVD. I’m not sure why it has taken so long for this to be released as its been available on VHS for ages. I suppose it could have been a marketing ploy as people that have had the VHS version would have needed to buy several copies due to them waring them out - yes it’s that good!
Right from the start with “Shine on you crazy diamond”, through works from “The division bell” to every song from “The dark side of the moon” Pink Floyd show that they are indeed masters at putting on a show with lighting, video effects and fine musicianship. This is probably the greatest ever stage production a rock-concert has ever had.
And it looks like the US are going to be treated to this DVD a few months earlier than us Brits - Amazon.com have a release date of June instead of October which Amazon.co.uk is reporting.
